Koto was born from the conviction that Japanese cuisine is more than technique — it is an attitude. Every dish honors the ingredient, respects the season, and seeks the balance between simplicity and refinement.

Our head chef Kenji Nakamura spent twelve years in the kitchens of Tokyo and Kyoto before bringing his vision to Zurich. At Koto, classical Japanese techniques merge with the finest seasonal ingredients Switzerland has to offer.

From selecting the morning's fish to the final brushstroke on the plate — for us, cooking is an art form.
